This kit will give you the hardware required to completely remove the problematic EGR cooler as fitted to the GU Patrol with the ZD30 Di engine. It will also give you the ability to completely remove the EGR valve from the ZD30 Di engine as fitted to the D22 Navara and the GU Patrol. The heavy-duty steel plate for the inlet manifold is similar in thickness to the original EGR pipe and allows the use of the original mounting bolts. The heavy-duty steel plate for the exhaust manifold is similar in thickness to the original EGR pipe and allows the use of the original mounting bolts. 1 meter of 8mm heater hose allows the coolant to flow from the steel heater pipe to the block on the driver side, this previously ran through the EGR cooler (GU Patrol) or through the EGR valve (GU and D22). The EGR valve can now be securely mounted out of the way. The EGR valve should be left plugged in electrically to avoid any engine lights or fault codes. Alternately the EGR valve can be unplugged, and the codes can be remapped out by a tuner with this ability. Or if the engine has had a mechanical pump swap the EGR valve can be unplugged, and engine light deleted.
